As the mining industry transitions towards digitalization and automation, the hoist—being a core component of mine transportation systems—plays a critical role in determining the productivity and safety of operations. To ensure the hydraulic system of the hoist operates efficiently, extends equipment lifespan, and reduces maintenance costs, Shanxi Taiyuan Jiaomei Xiqu Coal Mine has deployed the IOL-H2 Smart Online Oil Monitoring System, developed by ZhiHuochai Technology (Shenzhen) Co. , Ltd. (hereafter referred to as " INZOC "), This system enables real-time, intelligent monitoring and data-driven management of oil quality, driving the digital upgrade of mine equipment.
The hoist at Xiqu Coal Mine operates under high load and continuous working conditions, making its hydraulic oil vulnerable to temperature fluctuations, pressure variations, and contamination. Issues like viscosity drop, increased water content, and the accumulation of contaminants can lead to hydraulic system failures, affecting safety and production efficiency. Traditional manual sampling methods are delayed and infrequent, making it difficult to detect oil degradation risks in time. To address these challenges, the mine chose the IOL-H2 Smart Online Oil Monitoring System for real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and lifecycle management of the hydraulic system.
In this project, the IOL-H2 system was installed at the oil intake and return ports of the hoist’s hydraulic system, ensuring comprehensive monitoring of hydraulic oil quality.

Oil Type: #46 anti-wear hydraulic oil
System Optimization: M22-to-1/4G interfaces were welded for easy sensor installation, and pipeline modifications were made at the oil tank’s fill port to ensure stable system operation.
This optimization guarantees the accuracy and long-term stability of the monitoring system, with the installation process being simple, safe, and reliable.
The IOL-H2 system offers multi-parameter synchronous monitoring capabilities, allowing real-time data collection and analysis of key oil condition indicators:
Viscosity: Reflects lubrication performance and temperature changes.
Temperature: Monitors the thermal balance of the hydraulic system.
Trace Water Content (ppm) and Saturation: Assesses the risk of water contamination in the oil.
Contamination and Wear Particles: Indicates oil cleanliness and wear trends.
Dielectric Constant: Monitors oil aging and contamination levels.
Vibration and Flow Rate: Analyzes system stability and oil circulation efficiency.
By intelligently integrating multiple data points, the system can send early warnings when oil performance shows signs of degradation, preventing equipment failure and downtime.
Since the IOL-H2 system was implemented, the hoist hydraulic system at Shanxi Taiyuan Jiaomei Xiqu Coal Mine has been monitored 24/7, significantly enhancing the digital and intelligent management of equipment. The application has delivered the following impactful results:
